Out for the Day...

Today I went to Midway, UT, which is about 45 mins away from Provo. It is a small town with a lot of character. I took a few pictures of the houses and office buildings that stood out to me the most.

This is a house.

This is an Art Gallery.

This is an office building.

This is a barn.

Another office building.

And right by these wonderful buildings were beautiful horses.

Then, it was time to go home and these are pictures I took while Nathan was driving.

The last one if my faviorite.

So there you have it, day one of my new camera and pictures 64-74.

Becoming Katniss

I think it is funny that in my last couple of entries I apologized for not being consistent with my updates, so today I do not want to sound like a broken record...
Since the "New Year" is shortly arriving I will make one of my many resolutions to keep up with my blog.

I have recently joined a book club and I LOVE IT! This month we decided to read Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. I believe it is one of his better books and if they decide to make it into a movie, I hope they do not mess it up like they did "Dear John."

I will save that soap box for another time, but now I will explain the picture.

Though book club decided we were reading Safe Haven this month, we are also suppose to read the Hunger Games series. We have till March 2012 because that is when the first movie comes out. But I am just about done and our next meeting is not until mid January. I guess you could  say I absolutely love the books but I think it might be an understatement. If you have not yet read them, I highly recommend you do. From the beginning they grabbed my attention and I totally became the main character "Katniss."

Therefore explaining the emotion in the picture and yes that is me.

Changing the Rules

I always seem to find myself apologizing for not keeping up with this project, then I feel bad and get even more behind. So I decided that I am going to change up the rules a little bit. For this 365 Day project, I am still going to take 365 pictures but in my own time.

To my fans: I am so sorry for letting you down. I know that you expected to see one picture a day and I have failed to provide that for you. However I will preserver and see this project to the end and still give you 365 Pictures.

Thank you for understanding:)

Another Hike by Sundance

Our friends Clay and Kamiee Johnson took us on a lovely hike in the mountains. It was a little ways further in the mountains we have ever been and it made the scenic view that much more beautiful!

This is a picture of the drive up there.

On the way to the waterfall we were surrounded by trees.

All the views along the way.

By the time we got to the waterfall I was pretty tired and was a party pooper. Long story short I HATE bugs and forgot to take pictures of the huge waterfall.

The End.

Another Day at In-N-Out

Since our days together are coming to an end I asked the kids where they wanted to go and just after we had lunch they said IN-N-OUT. Crazies!
So Nathan and I agreed to take them for dinner after my husband got out of work @9:30pm.

To be honest I was not in the mood for it but anything for the kids. Here is a picture I took of our burgers and they do not look very appetizing at all. I feel so gross and I think Nathan and I need to go on a cleansing diet when they leave.

Here is a picture of a leftover cup that made it to the house.

Our First Week With The Kids

Day 26
We went hiking in the mountains and this was the view.

 Day 27
We went to Bridal Vail Falls and let the kids play in the water.

 Day 28
This picture came out really weird so I thought it needed to be posted.

Day 29
On July 11th we went to 7 Eleven to get a free Slurpee but they ran out of "free" cups so we just bought a medium size.

                                     Day 30
Today we walked around BYU and sat by the pond. We saw 6 turtles and I got a picture of one of them on a rock.

5 Days In A Nutshell

As you already know, I have been on vacation. Here are a few pictures I took on vacation and my trip to Salt Lake City, UT with my siblings.

Day 21
One morning I was in El Paso, Tx and I thought the clouds looked beautiful, so I took a picture.

Day 22
My Uncle took me and some of my family on a hike. We hiked up to a cave and this is a picture of the view from the cave.

Day 23
After the hike my uncle was driving us back home to my grandparents house and this is a picture I took while riding in the car.

Day 24
The day that we were leaving to come back home to Provo, UT, my grandpa came out of his room like this...it was a great laugh!

Day 25
I took the kids to Salt Lake city and I took pictures of two of the most beautiful building there.

P.S. I did not edit any of the pictures, I apologize.
